Hello
I have a problem with you Opalis Integration Pack for Active Directory. In the case of “Ad AD User” opalis tells me in every Test run or Active Job that the Oparation of “Create User” is “Sucessful” but there is no new User in Our AD. thats the main Problem i have. Also we need to create a User name wir 3 and 5 digits of the Name and Surename but is this possible with this Pack? Same problem with a exchange Mailbox with a new user.
Hope you can help me.
with best kind gegards

Hey Andreas,
Can you post this over on the codeplex page for the project? Thanks!

Hi,
I am starting with the OIS AD IP. After a little puzzle (you should configure AD via Options => Active Directory) I can work with the components. I wondered if you are working on a possible Edit AD User object/possibility.
Best regards
Andre Grootveld
Hey Andre,
Good news! There are objects to facilitate this already in the integration pack.
Add Multi-Value Object Property
-> This object is used for setting properties of objects inside of AD
-> Requires 3 inputs
1. “Object LDAP Path” — Path to the object to modify
2. “Property Name” — Name of the property to set
3. “Property Value” — Value to set the property to
Get Object Property Values
-> Used for returning properties of a AD object
-> Takes the LDAP Path as input
-> Example Output (the object will put out multi-instanced data)
Object_NAME Property_Name Property Value

A bit late respons but thanks! I’m going to test this asap!
Upgraded from 1.1 to 1.7 and tried to open the multi-value object but then Opalis crashes: object reference not set to an instance of an object. Do you know what this could be?
Forget the previous note. Had to uninstall the previous OIP before installing the 1.7 (or 1.8). Now it’s going. I’m happy
Hi Ryan,
Great blog!
Given your expertise in Orchestrator, I would really like to get your opinion on my end user portal for Orchestrator runbooks. Version 1.0 was launched yesterday. You can download at EUPSCO(dot)com.
